What roles does language play in defining social space? In the impulse to communicate experience, how is the subject heard or not, understood or not, and according to what terms? My work investigates the social landscape of the voice, its spaces and borders. What are the different dimensions and conditions of the voice as a bodily, spatial or discursive material?
