Rasmus Nilausen (DK)
Rasmus Nilausen (1980, DK) studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and at the Faculty of Fine Art in Barcelona. His work has been shown among other places at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in London, as well as at Tranen in Copenhagen or at the Antoni Tàpies Foundation in Barcelona. His stay at the Van Eyck is generously supported by the Danish Art Council, The Department of Culture of Catalunya, Hielmstierne-Rosencroneske stiftelse and the Raben-Levetzauske Fund. During the residency he has been exploring the effects of spoken and written language applied to the act of painting.
