Lukas Rehm (DE)
Lukas Rehm (b. 1989) is an artist and composer working in the field of new media, installation art, documentary, experimental fiction and (music) theatre. His artistic works examine the conditions and theatrics of social structures, the impact of (new) technological artefacts as well as the role of affect. His practice is informed by collaborative performative methodologies and their respective dispositives and incorporates reflections on cross-historical and -cultural narratives and psychology.
His work has been recently presented at Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, Heidelberger Frühling, GAMMA Festival (St.Petersburg), ZKM (Karlsruhe), the Princeton Weimar Summer School, Future Space (New York), Staatsoper Stuttgart, Doclisboa (Lisbon), the Nordic House (Reykjavík) and Circuits and Currents (Athens). Lukas Rehm has both studied and taught at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (Media Art + Theory, Scenography) and holds a B.A. in Art History and Theatre Studies of LMU Munich.
