On Wednesday 28 May, the first in a series of workshops within the framework of the (In) comprehensible Government will take place. Van Eyck Mirror - Products and Concepts, the project bureau of the Van Eyck initiated this research project and the workshop marks the start of the second, concept phase of the (In) comprehensible Government which takes form as an artist-in-residence programme at the "Gouvernement" of the Province of Limburg.
During the workshop, participants of the Van Eyck will work together under the guidance of professionals with diverse backgrounds. Following the brainstorming sessions and master classes they will individually or in collaboration, present a project to develop new types of social products and services that the provincial government can use to generate more visibility and that testify to their legitimacy.
Irene Fortuyn will lead the first workshop. She's an artist and Head of department of Man & Leisure at Design Academy Eindhoven, tutor at KABK Royal Academy The Hague, and co-founder of LabMinds, Amsterdam
