As part of the In-Lab Scores & Structures: From Mind to Map to Muscles social designers and researchers Gabriel Fontana and Vivien Tauchmann are invited to give a talk on their individual and collaborative practice during a presentation on 2 October from 16:30 – 17:00 in the auditorium.
By considering the practice of sport as a performance of wider social structures, both Gabriel Fontana and Vivien Tauchmann develop bodily experiences and performative acts as tools to understand, deconstruct and challenge pre-dominant power structures. These normative logics are often internalized, affecting our bodies without us being aware of it due to the layers of enculturation that reinforce daily power relations.
Everyone welcome to join!
The presentation will be preceded by the open workshop Power Games lead by Fontana and Tauchmann from 13:00 – 15:00. All info here
