Sytske van Koeveringe starts her two-month writer-in-residency at Van Eyck in September.
Van Koeveringe (1988) graduated in 2014 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Her debutnovel Het is maandag vandaag (It’s Monday today) was published in 2017 (de Bezige Bij). Her short stories are published in magazines such as de Fusie, De Gids, Hard//hoofd and Das Magazin. She is one of the eight debutants who have been selected for a debutant scholarship of € 10,000 granted by the Dutch Foundation for Literature for writing her next book. On which she will work during her residency at the Van Eyck.
The writer-in-residence programme of the Van Eyck is a collaboration with the Dutch Foundation for Literature. Each year two writers are selected to take up a residency amidst international artists, designers, curators and thinkers in the framework of Wanderlust, the international talent development programme of the Foundation.
