The Jac. P. Thijsse/Wilhelmina Minis van de Geijn Lab and the Pierre Kemp/Thérèse Cornips Lab organize their third Reading Group on Thursday 26th of October from 18:00 - 21:00. Hosted by Roosje Klap, we will discuss a selection of 4 fragments on women and otherness. We have selected a fragment from the book In Praise of Messy Lives by Katie Roiphe (on why people enjoy hating Hillary Clinton), a selection from the book Men Explain Things to Me by Rebecca Solnit, a fragment from A room of one’s own by Virginia Woolf and a fragment from Feminist Theory; from margin to center by Bell Hooks (Gloria Jean Watkins).
You can sign up by sending an e mail to Yasmine Ostendorf: firstname.lastname@example.org and you'll receive the 4 text fragments.
